Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM)

The seller prepares a CIM before they put their startup on the market. It provides an overview of the company, including summary financial statements, metrics, KPIs, and customer data. The CIM puts the seller in the best possible light while providing sufficient detail to buyers so they can prepare an initial indication of interest (IOI) or letter of intent (LOI).
